Emma
Emma
During the last few months of her life, Charlotte Bronte set the scene of a new novel to be called "Emma". There is a mysterious and unloved child, bullied and unhappy at a school run on shallow and mercenary principles. Charlotte Brontë's two opening chapters completed into a piece of period pastiche by Constance Savery.
