Higher Education Books
Students with print disabilities often need course books in accessible format. There are different options available.
Sometimes e-books in the university library’s collection are accessible with an assistive device or app. If not, Celia can provide accessible course books for studies in Finnish universities. Depending on the situation, Celia can either produce the course book for it’s own collection or provide access to a talking book in partner organization’s collection.
Before making an acquisition request to Celia, please contact your Finnish university library in order to ask them to register you as Celia’s user. Your campus library can also help you with the e-books.
