Emily of New Moon

When her father dies, eleven-year-old Emily believes that she is all alone. But her mother's family, who never forgave her mother for eloping with her father, are there to care for her. It is decided by the drawing of lots that Emily will go to New Moon, the century -old family farm, with two of her aunts. There cousin Jimmy encourages her in her writing.
