Under Goliath

Under Goliath

Alan and Fergus, meet, fight, then form a firm friendship. This is destroyed when a hidden gun, which is their shared secret, vanishes. They accuse each other - trust and friendship disappear. Set in Belfast in the early seventies, when the Civil Rights movement turned to violence. Because Fergus is Catholic and Alan a Protestant, their friendship never truly had a chance. The city pulls itself apart, and break their hearts.
