Secrets of the sea house

Secrets of the sea house

Ruth and her husband move into an old vicarage on an island in the Outer Hebrides. They discover the remains of a baby buried beneath the house, its legs fused together into one limb - a mermaid child. When Ruth researches the history of the house, she uncovers the heart-breaking story of Reverend Alexander Ferguson, an amateur evolutionary scientist.
