Gentle Johnny Ramensky : the extraordinary true story of the safe blower who became a war hero

Gentle Johnny Ramensky grew up in poverty. He spent more than 40 years in jail. But he served his country with exceptional bravery in the Second World War. He was parachuted behind enemy lines to break into the safes of the German High Command to steal vital documents. After the war he returned to criminal life. He died behind bars, by then a true Scottish legend.
