Man's search for meaning : an introduction to logotherapy

Man's search for meaning : an introduction to logotherapy

The author learnt the extremities of suffering in concentration camps. He uses his experiences to find ways of healing sickness of mind and spirit. His technique, 'logotherapy', shows people can be set free from despair and find new courage to face circumstances which seem beyond them. His therapy is based on man's striving for a higher and ultimate meaning to his existence.
