Agaat

Året är 1996 i Sydafrika, två år efter apartheids avskaffande. Milla de Wet, vit lantbrukarhustru i 70-årsåldern ligger förlamad i ALS. Den enda som kan kommunicera med henne är Agaat, hennes svarta hembiträde som varit i familjen sedan hon var fem år gammal. Sakta rullas de två kvinnornas historia upp.
