A room with a view

Lucy Honeychurch is visiting Florence with her cousin. She is attracted to a young man, George Emerson, who, with his father, represents values quite different to her. After returning to England Lucy accepts to marry Cecil Vyse. Mr. Emerson forces Lucy to admit that she has been in love with his son all along. The novel ends in Florence, where George and Lucy have eloped.
